That was the first class around the topic of stage fright and stress that I enjoyed! Very concrete ideas for how to cope and not just talking 🙂 Thank you!

I'm very happy with the concrete, practical approach. This webinar has made "fear" very tangible and concrete. Sarah has provided frameworks, guidelines and step-by-step plans, which is great!

Stress – What is it and how to work with it? It’s a fact that stress is neither negative nor positive. It’s just stress. And you need it in order to be able to make peak performances when you are singing! Know that you are not alone… The big majority of professional artists admits to experiencing anxiety before a concert or audition.

So, the problem is not stress in itself, but whether you’re able to embrace the heightened energy and focus that comes with it, and use it to your advantage.

In the end, it’s important to keep your strive to perfection healthy. Work very hard to be able to make excellent performances, but learn how to deal with the slaps in the face you will encounter along the way undoubtedly.

This is what we’ll work with in this 1h 15 min webinar:

  • What is stress and how do you, as a singer and a human being, react to it?
  • Coping mechanisms and how to deal with the negative ones
  • To relax or not to relax
  • How to train your “stress-muscles”

The live webinar lasted 1,5 hours. The recording is edited and lasts 1 hour 15 minutes. However, it’s important that you reserve at least 1,5 hours to watch the webinar, so you have the time to execute the exercises.
