Many thanks for your session today!! It was very interesting and opened me up to styles I don’t usually work on! I now feel feel relaxed, progressed and knowledgable. I’m going to see if I can implement it into some of my musical theatre rep where appropriate and use it for pop/rock auditions.

Fantastic seminar. Many many thanks. I have always been fascinated by vocal colouring, distortion and techniques. As a musical theatre singer, it’s great to understand this a bit better. After the webinar today, I felt impressed and inspired. I plan to experiment and dance more to release my tension!

I feel really inspired, I’ve learned a lot! I will definitely use the growl in motown / disco style shows and distortion for various shows too! Creak too! I’m going to practise these and experiment more! Big thank you! (2 years later) I can confirm I did go on to use those vocal techniques in shows onboard!

Yes!!! It's the future! I now feel free to explore, experiment and express in various ways. I’m going to listen more intently to singers using these styles for variations of style and expression.

Thank you so much! I have wanted to learn these effects for a long time, but there are limited resources out there, so I have mostly been only experimenting. Great to have you tell us the right / safe way to do it. Thank you! I now feel excited, confident and cool. (2 years later) As a happy update, I can tell you that I have practiced grunt and growls a lot, and I have now been working as a singing pirate where that skill has come very much in handy!

Great to see you work with singers, your enthusiasm, how you try to explain everything in different ways. Hats off to you! The theory is very interesting, a good basis. But I also benefited a lot from seeing you work with the active participants. Such good singers with beautiful voices! As a beginning singer, it's useful to be able to observe the different techniques like that.
